Amplify Publishing Group is often looking to expand our team with qualified publishing professionals. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with authors to develop and execute integrative marketing plans for books, with an emphasis on nonfiction
• Draft pitches, wire-ready press releases, and electronic press kits
• Complete outreach on behalf of authors in support of the release of their books
• Interface directly with authors and provide regular updates on marketing engagements
• Manage strategic advertising campaigns on Amazon and social media
• Strategize with full internal marketing team and other departments on corporate marketing initiatives
• Liaise with authors, their teams, and internal departments to assure the success of book launches—including being aware of publishing milestones and assisting with retail opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, English, or related field required
• 2–5 years of book marketing and/or publicity experience a strong plus
• 2–5 years of client management or client relations experience preferred
• Candidate should have excellent copywriting and editing skills
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and a creative problem solver
• Able to thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication with both internal and external clients
