Patrick X. Amoresano
Patrick Amoresano is a retired trial attorney who decided to redirect his forty-four-year career of writing and speaking toward another lifelong passion—politics.
Pat’s been a stalwart supporter of Ron DeSantis for several years, from following the Florida governor’s fight against COVID-19 tyrannies to joining his campaign for president in Iowa.
As a member of Team DeSantis, Pat designed and produced promotional literature for the Iowa campaign, knocked on doors in blizzard conditions, and spoke to Iowa voters at multiple caucus precincts. After that, he worked as a consultant to the Florida Pregnancy Support Services program and as a volunteer against the adoption of Amendment 4, the failed pro-abortion push promoted in Florida by Planned Parenthood.
Pat is the author of three other books. In 2019, he self-published his first two books under the pen name Patrick Xavier: From Which We Stem, a legal-medical thriller about illicit embryonic stem-cell harvesting by China and Big Pharma; and We Were the Fighting Irish, a nonfiction work focused largely on Notre Dame University’s religious and political history in the realms of slavery, the Civil War, and the culture war.
Then in May of 2025, Pat self-published a second nonfiction work as Patrick Amoresano: The Forgotten Father of Notre Dame Football, a biography about a young Irish immigrant orphan of the Potato Famine who founded the Fighting Irish football program in 1887, with features about other noteworthy figures connected to that program and the university at large from 1842 through 2024.
