From Ally to All-In

The Five Stages of Moving Beyond Privilege and Becoming a More Inclusive Leader

The business world is often seen as an impossibly divided space where results and performance benchmarks are one goal, while attention to an inclusive culture for all team members is another—and hardly ever can those two initiatives be reached in tandem.

This is just not true, as Mike Lynch, creator of the Ally to All-In Framework, invites leaders, especially white men, to take a personal look at their place in creating truly inclusive spaces for their employees. From Ally to All-In doesn’t shame or blame or prescribe ideology—it is a guide to work on what is required to do more than the bare minimum for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and instead take part in a way that’s authentic, responsible, and intentional.

Lynch offers his experience of struggle and growth, as well as those of clients he has coached and mentored. These meaningful cases are grounded in the five building blocks of the ally to all-in path—Awareness, Acknowledgment, Atonement, Accountability, and Amplification.

This is your guide to reach beyond allyship toward a more wholehearted commitment to inclusion. Leaders who do the inner work required to show up with purpose in these discussions will feel empowered, not in over their head.

Become inspired as you use your privilege and influence to elevate others while also achieving desired business results—one conversation and one action at a time.
