Mary Sasso

Mary Sasso is a marketing and communications professional with more than fifteen years of experience in book publishing. Currently based in Philadelphia, Mary spent more than ten years in New York where she worked at HarperCollins Publishers and DK Publishing. Mary loves working closely with authors and has developed and executed innovative marketing campaigns across a wide variety of nonfiction and fiction genres. More recently, Mary oversaw sales and marketing at a healthcare textbook publisher and managed social media and online content for a nonfiction publisher and editorial agency. 

Mary has a bachelor’s degree in English from Boston College, a certificate in publishing from New York University’s Summer Publishing Institute, and a certificate in copyediting from UCSD Extended Studies. Outside of work, Mary loves cooking, reading, theater, and exploring Philly’s many great parks, shops, and restaurants.
